Logical Volume Manager

                 Logical Volume Manager

We have 3 Hard disks(sda, sdb, sdc)

We will create a partiton sda7 into first hard disk (sda7) and convert it into lvm

We will create one partition into sdc (sdc1 = 30 GB) and another one into sdb (sdb1 = 20 GB) and convert these to lvm

All output are here

Now we will create physical volume (pv) for all these partitions (sda7, sdb1, sdc1)

Now, we can see these physical volumes by 'pvs' & 'pvdisplay' command

Now, we will create Volume Group within these physical volumes. Initially there is no volume group.

After creating VG, we can see the volume group by 'vgdisplay' command
